GERALD (GERRY) GOOBIE
P. ENG.

Mr. Gerry Goobie is a Principal in the Calgary office of Goobie Tulk Inc. (GTI) providing consulting services to clients in the natural gas, crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas processing businesses throughout North America.

Gerry has worked in the petroleum industry for 38 years specializing in the natural gas, NGL and crude oil businesses. Gerry’s experience includes commercial operations, project management, strategic planning, acquisitions and divestments and regulatory matters as well as process design and reservoir engineering.

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Memorial University of Newfoundland as well as a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. Gerry is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta.

Prior to forming GTI with Dave Tulk, Gerry was a Principal at Gas Processing Management Inc. (GPMi) and prior to GPMi, Gerry was a Managing Consultant in the Calgary office of Purvin & Gertz Inc. Both GPMi and Purvin & Gertz were internationally renowned, independent oil and gas consultancies. Prior to joining Purvin & Gertz, Gerry worked in various commercial and operational roles for ATCO Midstream Ltd., TransCanada Pipelines Ltd., Murphy Oil, Alberta Natural Gas Ltd, Esso Resources Canada and Texaco Canada Resources. Gerry is a frequent speaker at crude oil, natural gas, midstream and petrochemical conferences.

DAVID TULK
P. ENG.

Dave has over 36 years experience in the petrochemical, gas processing and mid-stream value chains of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. He has held executive level leadership positions in both the petrochemical and mid-stream sectors.

He became a partner in GTI with the objective of providing consulting services and expertise related to the commercial operation and development of the mid-stream and petrochemical businesses in Western Canada. Dave’s expertise includes negotiating complex commercial agreements, buying and selling petrochemical feedstocks and mid-stream assets as well as the development of major projects from concept to operation.

CURRENTLY (5 years) PRINCIPAL Goobie Tulk Inc. (formerly a Principal at Gas Processing Managment Inc.), providing consulting services related to the commercial operation and development of natural gas and LNG infrastructure, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and petrochemicals in western Canada.

3.5 YEARS DIVISONAL VP OF ALTAGAS LTD. – responsible for all aspects (commercial, operations, BD, regulatory, financial) of AltaGas NGL and transmission pipeline assets

28 YEAR CAREER WITH NOVA CHEMICALS – commercial operations and business development related to Nova Chemicals western Canadian feedstock and ethylene business

VP NGLs responsible for the commercial and physical operations associated with he acquisition and delivery of al NGL feedstock to Nova Chemicals olefins plants located in Alberta and Ontario.
